Head Coach – Amethyst Tymoch
Head
coach Amethyst Tymoch has become a familiar face at Health
Unlimited, having taught swim lessons, youth and adult stroke
clinics and swim team activities during her time here. In 3
short years, Coach Amethyst has built this swim team program
from a fledgling start-up to a successful and popular program
that expands into the competitive arena with the 2006-2007
season. Prior to coming to Health Unlimited, Amethyst was a
youth swim league coach at the Cincinnati Sports Club for four
years while also teaching swim clinics and a masters program
(adult competitive swimming). She was a competitive team
swimmer in United States Swimming (USS) competition, reaching
Junior Olympic and Zone Qualifier status. While in high
school, she was a varsity competitive swimmer and diver.
Amethyst is currently one of Health Unlimited's most
successful and most sought after swim lesson instructors for
all age brackets and she coaches our wildly successful adult
swim clinics. Her enthusiasm for the sport of swimming is
contagious and is routinely passed along to the children and
adults she coaches. Her ability to get the most of each
individual swimmer and her relationships with her swimmers set
her apart from other team coaches.
